Racist, Anti-Gay Posters Found at Canadian University

ONTARIO, Canada – Campus Police at the University of Windsor are investigating two incidents involving racist graffiti and homophobic flyers found in the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Law on Nov. 21.

Anti-gay posters were displayed in the Faculty of Law building and racist graffiti was found in a restroom in the Faculty of Education building.

Lori Lewis, the university’s spokeswoman, said the incidents are very rare to the campus and that campus police are working diligently to get to the bottom of the crimes.

The racist and homophobic messages were immediately removed upon discovery.
