As the result of an investigation into hazing allegations, Quinnipiac University has shut down the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, suspended two of its members, and expelled another student, officials said Dec. 30.

University officials declined to release details of the hazing accusations. Quinnipiac issued a cease and desist order to the fraternity, forbidding it from operating until the student disciplinary process is complete, the Huffington Post reports.
