Portland State University is the largest state university in Oregon, having a significantly higher student population than any other university in the state. The Campus Public Safety Office maintains 24/7 staffing in both patrol and dispatch. Photos by Nic

Portland State has fully interoperable communications with surrounding schools with the local municipal police agency (City of Portland Police Bureau) via access to both the local 800 MHz (SmartZone II) trunked radio system, and the campus’ own UHF 70CM radio repeaters (four on campus).
