PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia School District has banned the president of the school police officers union from its central police control room. The move was in response to comments Michael Lodise made to The Inquirer.
Lodise has now filed an unfair labor practice charge with the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, The Inquirer reports.
Lodise said that in the past, he obtained information pertinent to investigations involving union member discipline and other matters relevant to his position while in the control room.
