Police arrested Forrest Busby, 17, on March 5 at Woodstock High School when they found a revolver they believe he brought to school and hid in the bathroom ceiling.
According to CNN, police then searched Busby’s home and found an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and a Mini-14 assault rifle.
A 15-year-old classmate was also arrested and is suspected of being an accomplice. A third student was questioned but not arrested.
In response to the incident, Woodstock Middle School, Woodstock High School and Etowah High School were locked down.
