New Mexico police have arrested a man they believe to be the serial rapist that targeted women near the University of New Mexico’s campus over a 20-year span.
Robert Bruce was arrested in Pueblo, Colo., in October. Police say they have DNA evidence that ties him to 11 rapes near the university. Police dubbed the alleged serial rapist as the “Ether Man,” since all the women were drugged by a chemical substance before being victimized.
Bruce was caught in Colorado on other crimes including allegations of peeping into someone’s window and trying to blow up an officer’s home who was about to testify against him, reports KOAT.com.
