Philly Hospital Enforces Photo ID Visitor Passes

PHILADELPHIA — Visitors of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are now required to present a photo ID as part of the hospital’s security upgrades.

Upon entering the medical facility, all visitors must stop by the Welcome desk and present a driver’s license, school ID or passport. A picture will be taken for those who do not have a photo ID for the visitor’s badge, CBS Philly reports.

No incident prompted the change, according to hospital officials.
