BELCHERTOWN, Mass. — A petition circulating on Facebook that calls for the ousting of Belchertown School System Superintendent Judith Houle has garnered more than 307 signatures.
The creator of the petition, Myndi Bogdanovich, lists several incidents that she claims parents were not made aware of in a timely manner, the Daily Hampshire Gazette reports. These includes the posting of a “hit list” to Facebook by a student, the shooting of a school bus with BB guns and an alleged assault on a bus.
Houle will not be fired, according to School Committee Chairwoman Linda Tsoumas. The committee’s recent review of Houle rated her job performance at about 90%.
