Last Chance to Take the 2021 Campus Safety Emergency Notification Survey

COVID-19 has impacted many aspects of our lives over the past year, so it’s reasonable to assume it has probably also affected the emergency notification policies, procedures and technologies used by K-12 schools, institutions of higher education and healthcare facilities. But has it? That’s what we want to find out in the Campus Safety 2021 Emergency Notification Survey.

Has your organization experienced pandemic-related challenges with your mass notification programs, and has COVID-19 changed how you use your technologies or the policies and procedures associated with them? Or, perhaps your mass notification program and technologies worked perfectly. We want to help others learn from your experiences, good and bad.

This year’s survey also covers important topics such as in-building communications, silent panic alarms, fire alarms and the features your organization values most in its emergency notification systems.

Your input on all of these subjects is critical, so if you are responsible for public safety, emergency management or security at a healthcare facility, school or district, or institution of higher education, please click on this link to complete the questionnaire. We also encourage you to forward this message to your peers at other campuses so they can participate. The more people who take the survey, the better Campus Safety can serve our readers.

To thank you for completing this questionnaire, you will be entered into a random drawing for the chance to win one of several $25 gift cards that will be awarded at the conclusion of the survey.

The survey will take about 5 minutes to complete. Your answers, E-mail and identity, as well as that of your campus, will remain confidential and will only be used in tabulation with answers from other respondents.

The results will appear in an upcoming issue of Campus Safety magazine as well as on Please complete this questionnaire by April 19.
