COLUMBUS, Ohio — Security officers at Grant Hospital have increased their patrols after a woman trying to pass as an employee was spotted in the nursery at the medical facility.
The unidentified woman first arrived at the hospital on Sept. 11 by the labor and delivery area wearing scrubs and a stethoscope around her neck. When security officials questioned her, the woman said she worked there, but did not have identification. She later changed her story and said she was seeking employment at the facility, and police told her to leave, ABC 6 reports.
The following day, she returned to the hospital’s nursery on the fourth floor and told authorities she was looking for work at the hospital. Again, she was asked to leave the facility.
Hospital officials maintain that the woman was no threat. However, they have told employees to contact police if she comes back.
