LOGAN, N.J. – The Logan Elementary School and Center Square School, both in Logan, N.J., will have security systems installed in their facilities.
Surveillance cameras and access control systems will be installed, costing $197,838. The school district will pay 57 percent of that total ($112,596), and the remainder will be funded by the New Jersey School Construction Corp.
After students enter the schools in the morning, both facilities will be locked down. Only persons with access cards will be allowed in the building. Visitors and parents will only be given access by school officials and must use a designated entrance.
