Published: March 4, 2013

NEW YORK — Three track team members at Bronx High School of Science have been accused of sexually hazing a freshman student on the squad. The male suspects, two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old, have been charged with forcible touching, assault, hazing in the second degree and harassment.

The incident occurred in January when one of the teens allegedly told the victim to touch him sexually and threatened to rape the younger student for failing to comply, CBS News reports. When the student refused, the suspects pinned down the victim and sexually assaulted him.

School officials are currently investigating the incident. Until the investigation is completed, all track team events have been suspended.
