N.J. Districts Receive $1M in Grants for School Improvements

CAMDEN COUNTY,  N.J. — The School Development Authority announced on Jan. 3 that it would provide nearly $1 million in grants for two local school districts. The funding is intended for on-campus improvements.

The Lindenwold district will receive $688,000 to upgrade its security systems at two elementary schools. Three schools will receive new exterior doors, among other improvements.

Gloucester Township schools will receive $279,000 to replace tiles and carpet at Blackwood Elementary School and Erial Elementary School.
