HOLMES, Pa.,—The Penn Wood High School Green Avenue Campus has been shut down for the rest of the year due to major fire damage.
School administrators are scrambling to house the school’s 800 junior and senior students after several fires broke out at the school, reports the Delaware County News Network.
The fires were caused by a break-in early Thursday morning. The first fire was located in the front lobby and then spread to the rest of the first floor of the school. Another fire was located in a classroom. Arson is suspected, and authorities are hoping to review video from school security cameras to determine what happened.
