AmpliVox Sound Systems now offers four versions of its bullhorns/megaphones (the SB602MR, SB602R, SB601R, and SB600R) that include the industry’s first Li-Ion rechargeable batteries with built-in battery chargers. These versatile and durable megaphones provide the easiest grab-and-go solution for crowd management in emergency situations. The Li-Ion battery pack delivers up to eight hours of normal use on a single charge, and holds its charge while inactive for a virtually unlimited time. Megaphones also include an AmpliVox-exclusive battery indicator light and can be powered by either Li-Ion or standard alkaline batteries. All models have a comfortable pistol grip with three modes—talk, whistle, and a built-in penetrating siren for emergency use.

The 602R “Mity Meg” Line packs 25-watts of amplification power into a compact package, with an optional corded, detachable microphone.  The lightweight 600R and 601R megaphones deliver top-quality sound for smaller spaces with the same durability and enduring battery life. 601R and 602R models feature Piezo Dynamic Technology, a revolutionary technique that allows a megaphone to operate more efficiently with less than half the weight of all other brands. Bottom line: lighter, louder, more effective megaphones that are ready when you need them.

  1. Li-Ion batteries hold their charge indefinitely while inactive, and run for up to eight hours on a single charge.
  2. Built-in charger makes it easy and convenient to keep the megaphone ready. No more lost chargers!
  3. With up to 25 watts of power, AmpliVox megaphones can be heard up to a mile away, delivering clear instructions to crowds of people in any emergency situation.

AmpliVox megaphones are a cost-effective, user-friendly tools for any campus office involved in crowd management or emergency response. In non-emergency settings, they can be put to daily use at athletic practices, pep rallies, fundraisers, and a myriad of other large group events. With the virtually unlimited ability to hold a charge during idle time, and the ease of recharging with the built-in charge pack, these megaphones quickly become indispensable.
