Mississippi U. for Woman Appoints New Police Chief

COLUMBUS, Miss.—Mississippi University for Women (MUW) has named Danny Patton as its new police chief.

Patton, who is currently the head of police at Bevill State Community College in Jasper, Ala., will start with MUW on Oct. 1, reports the Dispatch. He will replace Kennedy Meaders who left the position in March.
