Midwest Security Conference to Focus on Technology, Social Media and More

LISLE, Ill. – For security professionals wanting to learn how to effectively use social media and security technology to protect their organizations, the Midwest Security Conference, which will be held March 11-12, promises to deliver a wide array of sessions on those very topics.

The conference, which is in its 25th year, is a joint venture involving the Chicago Chapter of the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) and the Illinois Security Chiefs Association. In addition to the educational sessions (listed below), the event will also include exhibits featuring the latest products and services from some of our nation’s top vendors. Held in Lisle, Ill., one of the highlights of the event will be its keynote speaker, Erroll G. Southers, who is the associate director of research transition at the DHS National Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events (CREATE) at the University of Southern California.
