McNeese State Selects New Police Chief

LAKE CHARLES, La. — McNeese State University has selected former Sequim, Wash., Police Chief Robert Spinks as its new campus police chief.

Spinks was selected following a nationwide search by a committee comprised of faculty, staff and students, KPLCtv.com reports. He has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience, including positions at the municipal level and in higher education.

Spinks has also taught criminal justice classes at several colleges for more than two decades.
