BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. – Baltimore County will spend $3.7 million on school security equipment, including video surveillance, access control and visitor management.
Members of the Baltimore County Council approved the package on Monday. The spending increase was proposed by county police, officials and school leaders last week.
The plan calls for an expansion of the use of security cameras so campus video can stream live to police patrol vehicles and command posts.
