Many Arizona Schools Lose Resource Officers

MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. – Nearly 50 schools in Maricopa County will lose school resource officers on their campuses, according to ABC 15.

The Department of Education received around $14 million for the School Safety Program. However, due to rising salaries, there is not enough money to fund the school resource officers who help to monitor campuses.
