Man Arrested in Sexual Assault on Disabled Student

FULLERTON, Calif. — A man who allegedly sexually assaulted a developmentally disabled woman at the School for Continuing Education was arrested on Friday. Raul Barrientos, 22, is believed to be a student at Fullerton City College, which is located across the street from the continuation school.

Officers responded to the continuation school after someone reported a possible sexual assault taking place in a campus restroom, The Orange County Register reports. Campus security officers spotted Barrientos by a tree at a bus stop adjacent to the campus. The security officers detained him until police arrived.

Barrientos was booked into Fullerton City Jail on suspicion of sexual assault, kidnapping and several other charges. Police believe there may be other victims.
