BETHELEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa.—Police arrested a 25-year-old man for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy in the dormitory at Northampton Community College (NCC).

Muhammad Hanif, who is in the United States on a visa, was participating in a program sponsored by NCC, reports McCall.com. The victim was there for another program by an organization leasing the facility.

The July 31 incident occurred after the boy left his dorm room and walked down the hall to get a drink around 10 p.m., according to court records. Hanif invited the victim inside his room, when he saw the victim walking down the hallway. The suspect told the boy that he could stay in his room and offered him a pillow.

The boy fell asleep in Hanif’s room and awoke to the suspect sexually assaulting him. In turn, the victim ran out of the room and reported the attack to a camp counselor.
