A Louisiana State University campus security guard allegedly stabbed herself twice and then told authorities she was attacked on campus.

Dale Noel, 47,  initially claimed a man of Middle Eastern descent attacked her after he tried to gain access into the law center, says 2theadvocate.com. The guard later told authorities that she had injured herself after investigators confronted her on evidence that did not match her initial account.

Noel allegedly stabbed herself in the shoulder and in the abdomen. Police have not determined her motive. An arrest warrant has been obtained and authorities plan to charge Noel with criminal mischief and terrorizing.
