Lawsuit Alleges Former LAUSD Teacher Molested as Many as 15 Students

Published: September 18, 2013

LOS ANGELES – A lawsuit by the families of three former students was filed yesterday claiming former El Sereno Elementary School fourth and fifth grade teacher Armando Gonzalez molested their children. The court documents also allege that as many as 12 other students might have been abused by him from 2007 to 2011.

Gonzalez allegedly touched and fondled his female students, as well as kissed them, reports KTLA. The lawsuit claims Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) officials knew about the abuse but didn’t tell parents.

The suspect resigned from his position last week. Since 2012, LAUSD was working to dismiss him from his position.
