The deadline to take the Campus Safety second annual mass notification survey is April 8. All those involved with hospital, school and university security and safety – law enforcement and security professionals, emergency managers, facilities managers, IT personnel and others – are encouraged to participate.
This year’s survey will cover the types of technologies deployed, including sirens, giant voice, call boxes, digital displays, telephony, text messaging and more; how successful campuses are in enrolling users in their text messaging programs; common implementation problems; who has the authority to issue alerts; and more. Responses to the survey will be featured in the May/June issue of the publication.
CS requests that readers complete the survey by Wednesday, April 8. Respondents’ personal information, answers, E-mail addresses and identities, as well as those of their campuses will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used in tabulation with other responses.
