Kansas Hospital Surveillance Helps Catch Suspected Bank Robber

WICHITA, Kan. – Surveillance video taken at Wesley Medical Center helped police identify a man later arrested on suspicion of robbing a nearby bank.

The 21-year-old man was arrested at his home May 2 after police recognized him from the video. After robbing Intrust Bank, the man walked across the street to the hospital where he changed in a restroom.

Once police identified him from the video, they went to his home to arrest him. The unidentified man surrendered to police without incident.
