ISD netSeries Linux Dome Camera

Innovative Security Designs (ISD) of Irvine, Calif., releases a Linux version of its netSeries edge-based dome camera.

The NDV-AF-1080P-L is a fully integrated vandal resistant IP66 three axis dome style camera, with full time analog and digital outputs. Featuring dual microSDXC card slots for up to 128GB of edge storage, the netSeries is fitted with a dual core cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, and an OpenCL graphics processing unit (GPU). The camera will also natively support the Milestone Arcus video surveillance platform.

Originally launched as the first physical security camera of its class to run Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7, the netSeries Linux allows users to use a wide variety of accessories and devices attached via the USB interface, according to the company.
