Published: November 14, 2008

Mutualink of Wallingford, Conn., announces its multimedia communications resource sharing platform for interoperability. Designed for hospitals, schools, universities, first responders and government agencies, it facilitates the sharing of any two-way radio, telephone, wireless, video, file and text communications with a wide variety of entities in a secure environment.

According to the company, its network allows participants to join or exit incident management communications at their discretion, and solves resource management and control issues through a peer-to-peer initiation and acceptance model. The product can serve as the technology framework for the DHS’ National Response Framework.
