Heavy rain caused the roof to collapse at the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program building, an adult educational center in Anaheim, Calif. At least 13 people were reported as injured, according to KTLA News. Apparent water buildup on the roof caused the cave in.
A class of nearly 150 students was in session during the collapse, and students reported hearing what was believed to be thunder before the roof gave out. The building has been red tagged by the Anaheim Fire Department due to its unstable condition.
The North Orange County Regional Occupational Program is a career-technical training program that serves more than 25,000 high school students and adults.
