ORLANDO, Fla. — Three former Florida Hospital employees are being investigated after they allegedly accessed private information on more than 2,000 patients and sold that information.
April Baker, and husband and wife Katrina and Dale Munroe reportedly accessed the information of patients in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties for a year a half, WESH 2 News reports. The Orlando FBI office has initiated a criminal investigation and is working with Florida Hospital Representatives on the case.
Dale Monroe was fired from the hospital in July for accessing the information of a high-profile patient. Hospital security officials fear the information was being sold to a lawyer referral service.
