GARY, Ind. – A newborn was safely returned to its mother after being abducted by a man police believe to be the father.
The suspect kidnapped the 1-day-old from the Northlake Campus of Methodist Hospital. His vehicle was later spotted and pulled over without incident.
Hospital safety procedures are being reviewed by police.
