IDEAL Networks, an innovator in network testing, installation and management products, launches the NaviTEK NT network tester, which is engineered to help IT professionals find and fix connectivity issues for both copper and fiber optic cabling in active or passive networks.
The NaviTEK offers faster discovery of link and IP information by detecting services like ISDN and Power of Ethernet, according to the company. The product also uses Auto-test functions to make initial testing quick and easy. It also provides a summary on its home screen for a “snapshot” of the network.
In addition, NaviTEK gives access to detailed network parameters, including LLDP and CDP port information, Power over Ethernet (PoE), VLAN detection and operation and Ethernet utilization showing broadcast network traffic in real time. Once testing is complete, a report can be downloaded to a USB or an Android or Apple mobile device using the free IDEAL AnyWARE app.
