The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) announces its 2009 Midwinter Seminar will be held at Harrah’s in Las Vegas, Feb. 8-10.
Each year, the midwinter event brings together all healthcare safety and security professionals in one location for a two-day seminar. This program will assist attendees in:
- Understanding a court room trial and the challenges associated with it
- Understanding unique challenges associated with autistic patients.
- Integrating canines and law enforcement liaisons into hospital security management programs.
- Safely evacuating a facility if the need arises.
Harrah’s Las Vegas is located at 3475 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, Nev., 89109. Room rates $149.00 per night, plus all applicable taxes. The hotel reservation cut off date is Jan. 15. Individuals interested in attending should call Harrah’s at (702) 369-5000 and indicate they are there for IAHSS.
