Hundreds of Teens Denied ’50 Shades’ Tickets Storm Theater

Police said approximately 900 middle and high school students stormed a AMC Theater in Florida over the weekend to see the R-rated film "50 Shades of Grey."

On Feb. 14, approximately 900 middle and high school students stormed the AMC Theater at the West Oaks Mall in Ocoee, Fla., in order to see the R-rated film “50 Shades of Grey” for free. 

Police said about 200 of the students were able to make it inside the theater before security gates were closed. Officers are looking into whether the incident was organized via social media, Click Orlando reports.

One person was arrested at the theater on charges of battery and resisting arrest.
