St. Vincent Health System fired up to six employees for improperly accessing the records of Anne Pressly, a Little Rock morning television anchor. Pressly was a patient at the St. Vincent’s main hospital in October.

A routine patient-privacy audit revealed that as many as eight people gained access to her records improperly. The hospital notified Pressly’s mother and stepfather of the data breach.

Pressly was admitted to the hospital after someone severely beat her in her home in Little Rock’s Heights neighborhood.
