Hit Man Hire Sends Penn State Student to Jail

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.

A Penn State student has been arrested for allegedly plotting to kill a police informant. The 24-year-old student had accepted an offer by Michael P. Alexander, who was in jail on drug related charges, to find a hit man to kill the officer responsible for putting him in jail.

The student is now facing charges of criminal conspiracy to commit murder and criminal use of communication facility, reported Fox News. Alexander has also been charged with criminal solicitation to commit murder and criminal use of a communication facility.

It is unclear whether university police or officials were involved in the situation.
