HBCU-LEEA Conference Starts July 7

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Law Enforcement Executives and Administrators association (HBCU-LEEA) announces that its 2009 conference will be held July 7-10 at the Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel and Marina.

Topics covered during the conference will include:

  • Recognizing terrorist indicators and warning signs
  • Violent radicalization on college campuses
  • Law enforcement guide to Arabic culture and Islam
  • Emergency notifications

  • Incident management and rapid deployments to campus emergencies
  • Clery Act updates and compliance
