MIAMI — An inmate who escaped from Larkin Community Hospital was apprehended after alluding police for several days. Elie Bensimon stole a car while in the medical facility’s parking lot on Feb. 22. His hands were still handcuffed as he drove away from the scene.
Bensimon was initially arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, NBC News reports.
