GROTON, Conn. – The city of Groton is considering a draft plan that would implement $2.16 million in school capital improvements.
The plan will be presented to the board of education next month, reports TheDay.com. Many of the proposed improvements involve school security.
Those improvements include $316,000 to add video surveillance to parking lots, common areas and the perimeter of a high school, as well as $250,000 for secure vestibules at six elementary schools.
