A Georgia teacher has been accused of offering money to a Mundy Mill High School student to kill another student. The teacher was placed on administrative leave and faces charges of terroristic threats against the 16-year-old boy.
Randolph Forde was arrested in October after threatening to hit the student, asking if the student was gay, and asking another student to kill the boy for money, reports MyFoxAtlanta.com.
Forde has denied any wrongdoing. According to Forde’s attorney, the teacher commonly joked with students and no one took it seriously, reports Fox News. He said the boy only complained after he was getting suspended for a separate incident.
Forde, who was released from jail on $10,000 bond, is waiting for his case to go before a grand jury.
