Georgia School District to Get New Patrol Cars

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. – The Richmond County school police department will soon replace its aging fleet with new patrol cars.

The school system will use sales tax revenue to fund the new vehicles. The school board has allocated $250,000 for the cruisers.

It is the first time since 2006 that the public safety department has purchased patrol cars.
