A former University of Iowa student is suing her former professor for sexual harassment. Professor Mark Weiger committed suicide earlier this year.
The federal sexual harassment lawsuit alleges Weiger regularly made sexual remarks and verbally harassed her while also having a sexual relationship with another student during the 2006-2007 school year, according to the Associated Press.
The university agreed to the former student’s motion to substitute Weiger with a representative of his estate.
