Football Team Allegedly Robbed by School Security Officer

TEMPE. Ariz. — A Tempe High School security officer was arrested after $1,028 in cash was taken from a locked closet belonging to the school’s football team.

Kimmie Dwayne Baker, 47, had worked at the school for 19 years, KTAR.com reports. Only a limited number of employees have keys to the closet. Baker denied having a key, but police discovered one in the cover of Baker’s bible at home.

Police said the theft appears to be an isolated incident.
