Fla. School Locks Down After Teacher Finds Gun in Backpack

MIAMI-DADE, Fla.

A Florida high school was locked down on Sept. 18 after a teacher found a gun in a student’s backpack.

Fire rescue teams and police were called to Robert Morgan Senior High School shortly before 10:00 a.m. There were no reports of injuries, according to WSVN.

This incident comes just one day after seven other Miami-Dade students from seven different schools were taken into police custody after bringing weapons to school, according to CBS 4.
