Fired Hospital Worker Opens Fire on Ex-Bosses

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

A laid-off hospital technician has shot and killed one of two former supervisors, and was later killed by Alaska State Troopers.

The gunman, 48-year-old Joseph Marchetti, according to news reports, fired multiple shots inside Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna, Alaska, on Nov. 26.

The second victim is listed in critical condition.
