LIVONIA, N.Y. – It took more than an hour for fire fighters to douse a blaze that broke out at Livonia Primary School on Thursday.

The fire started just before 11 a.m., but children at the school’s recreational program were on a field trip at the time, reports WHAM. Officials say a generator on the roof appears to have caused the fire.

No one was injured during the incident, but several classrooms were damaged.
