Published: July 13, 2010

PENSACOLA, Fla.—A convicted felon was arrested on Monday for sexually assaulting a visitor at Baptist Hospital.

Terrance Coleman, 22, is suspected of assaulting a 33-year-old woman—who was visiting a friend at the hospital—in a public restroom between 5:30 and 6 a.m., according to PNJ.com. Coleman has also been accused of attempted sexual battery for an attack of a 20-year-old woman that occurred a few hours prior to the Baptist Hospital incident.

Baptist Hospital is making changes in response to the attack. An off-duty police officer will now patrol the hospital between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Additionally, visitor entry is limited between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Coleman was released from prison on June 1 after serving two years on an aggravated battery charge for beating a Pensacola woman. His bail is set for $200,000.
