ER Doctor Stabbed by Patient at Florida Hospital

BRANDON, Fla. – An emergency room doctor at Brandon Regional Hospital was stabbed on the evening of Oct. 28 by a patient.

Thirty-year-old Carolyn Faulk became angry once she received her discharge instructions. She grabbed a steak knife from her purse and stabbed Dr. Marisel Juarbe numerous times in the upper torso. Juarbe suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Faulk was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
