Published: November 17, 2010

NEWARK, Del. – State police have begun an investigation following several incidents of unlawful sexual contact at Christiana Hospital. Hospital employees have been asked to wear their ID badges at all times to prevent further assaults.

Three female patients claim that a man dressed as a doctor entered their hospital rooms and fondled them during what was supposed to be a physical exam, according to NBC Philadelphia. The victims alerted the hospital to the incidents, but the hospital officials neglected to contact police until two weeks after the first victim was groped.

The alleged attacker has not yet been apprehended. Police Sgt. Paul G. Shavack told the news source that the department cannot be sure at this time whether or not there were other victims.
