NOVATO, Calif. — The Novato Unified School District has installed eight automated external defibrillators (AEDs) on its Novato High, San Marin High and Hill Education Center campuses.
Trustees approved the installation and training in December 2010, the Novato Patch reports. The units were donated by the VIA Foundation and the Novato Fire District.
Novato Fire District provided all the training for school staff members.
